The first one you would have studied about in school  and the other  one i discovered was my 5th great grandfather.  This is their story. \Details:\nJoyce Thompson-Hovey has a degree in Secondary Education Social Studies and one in Elementary  Education with a total of 40 years teaching. She is president of the Genesee Valley Civil War Roundtable  and the Genesee Area Genealogists.  She has done numerous presentations for historical and Genealogical organizations in New York State as well as in SW Florida and previously presented to RGS a few years ago.
