Introduction to Genealogy Sessions
Event Description
The third session, Life Stories, will look at a number of other types of records or databases that will fill in your ancestors’ life stories. What happened to them? What was their life like? How did world events affect them?

We will take at look at using newspapers, maps, directories, land records, and local historical societies to fill in gaps and gain additional knowledge about your family member’s day-to-day life as well as uncover other milestones they may have achieved.

If you attended the previous presentations, you’ll be able to continue the research plan you started back in November. But all are welcome to join this event even if you haven’t participated in the previous two. We will provide a short review of what we’ve done so far before we continue our Intro to Genealogy journey.

Whether you want to write a story, make a book to share with your family, or just add more sources on Ancestry, Intro to Genealogy Session III will help you look beyond the Censuses and Vital Records to complete the Life Stories of your ancestors.
