Elizabeth Hodges, MA, MSLIS, is an Irish historian, former Lower East Side Tenement Museum educator, and a Senior Genealogy Librarian at Allen County Public Library's Genealogy Center. She holds a Master of Arts in Irish and Irish American Studies from New York University and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from St. John's University. In addition to her work as a museum educator, she worked for the New York Public Library’s Map Division before accepting her current position at the Genealogy Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. While her specialties and interests lie in Irish migration/immigration, house history, the experiences of immigrant women, and local history, she is always eager to learn and help others find their family’s story.
